Dick passed away in his sleep at home in the early hours of the morning of Monday 4th of November. 

We'd like to welcome you to help us remember him on the 25th of November. After the funeral there will be a reception at the Lord Robert's Centre at Bisley, where he spent so much of his time. Dick had many and varied interests and we're sure that you'll all have stories to tell and swap, if you're unable to make the funeral then please do feel free to share them with us - we'd love to read them. We're also sure that some of you will have photographs from his life, and we'd be very grateful if you could share them with us too. 

As you'll know, Dick was neither a fan of gloominess or of fuss so there's no need to wear black (unless you're a goth, of course), and please feel free to make a donation instead of a floral tribute, donations can be made via the link on this page to Phyllis Tuckwell whose nurses did such a good job of making Dick comfortable in his last days.
